The Exploring Government Quiz and Exam Packet is an optional but useful add-on to the Exploring Government textbook by Ray Notgrass (please see related review). Each lesson has seven to twelve review questions, covering the major points of the lesson. A unit quiz appears after every five lessons and an exam after each group of five units.
This book is designed to provide a short-cut for a self-directed learner or a busy parent.
The lesson reviews pose open-ended questions and could be used as mini-quizzes or study guides. The unit quizzes are multiple choice. The quizzes cover the same material as the lesson reviews. The exams are a short answer format, further narrowing the same material.
The exam book can used with multiple students. I'd call it non-consumable, as there isn't room to answer the review or exam questions on the pages. The answer key, sold with the test book, contains full answers for the review and exam questions.
